2011-2012  Planned Activities

During the winter months, we have a wide range of planned activities. They are usually based on a particular theme. The following is a list of what is planned so far for this season.

October 31, 2011 - Halloween Party-** Boo To You** Come to our Frightfully Fun party.  We are having a Spooktacular event!  Think of a good costume to wear and Please bring a dish to share.

November 11, 2011- Veterans Day Luncheon- Would you like to participate?   A luncheon to Honor our Veterans. (in place of mens & womens luncheons this month)  All Veterans in the park are recognized. Bring a dish to pass. 

November 18, 2011- Welcome Back 'Tacky Tourist' Party- .  This is the time to welcome everyone back and enjoy the sunshine .  Lets have fun around  the pool with good island music with Jeff & Kris Kellog, cool drinks, and great people.

November 24, 2011- Thanksgiving Dinner - is held in the club house. Turkeys are provided by the Nebus family as our way of saying thanks to our residents. Please bring a dish to share.  Time to enjoy great food and meet new and old friends. 

December 1, 2011- Deck the Hall Party- Come and help decorate the club house for Christmas.  We will be serving hot cookies and punch.

December 13, 2011 - The first Ladies Luncheon.  Luncheons are on the 2nd Tuesday of each month where the ladies on that month's  committee come up with the theme and decorations. All ladies encouraged to participate. Fun way to meet each other.  We bring a dish to pass and on this particular luncheon a gift for The Toy Drive Command  for  the East Naples Fire Department.

December 14, 2011 - The first Mens Luncheon- They meet 2nd and 4th Wed of each month. Men get together at the local pub for lunch. 

December 17, 2011- Our Annual Christmas Dinner & Dance-  The club house will be decorated to the hilt and we will share a delicious dinner and dance to the tunes of Solid Gold that evening. If you are good Santa may be making an appearance. 

December 24, 2012- Christmas Eve, a night of beautiful luminaries throughout the park and Christmas Caroling - Come join us.

December 25, 2011- Christmas Day luncheon- Everyone is welcome to come and enjoy afternoon dinner at the club house. Bring a dish to share. Everyone splits the cost of the meat.

January 10, 2012 - Ladies Luncheon, bring your favorite dish to share.

January 11 & 25, 2012 - Mens Luncheon, at the local pub.

January 14, 2012 - Roaring 20's Murder Mystery Party-  Who did it? Was it you!  We will have a great meal and real mystery on or hands it up to you to figure it out?  All the while dancing to the great tunes of a Jazz band playing the favorites of the 20's. Bring your flapper attire, guys don't forget those fedora's. We go all out here bring your costumes. We will be practicing up for the Charleston, can you dance it?
 
January 21, 2012- 8 day Southern Caribbean Cruise leaves. We have a bus that picks up at the park if there are enough signed up.  If you want to go call ASP rooms are almost gone.  It's so fun! 

February 7, 2012 - Ladies Luncheon, bring a dish to share. Moved forward because of Valentines Day.

February8 & 22, 2012- Mens Luncheon, at the local pub.

February 11, 2012- Valentines Dance with a Las Vegas Theme-  Vote for the Valentine King and Queen. Dinner and Dance, The band is  "Legends of Las Vegas".

February 25, 2012- Mardi Gras- The biggest party of the year.  We have a early evening parade and then back to the pool for the announcement of the parade winners.  Everyone is invited to participate, so bring your idea's and cool costumes. The dinner and dance follows out under the stars (around the pool area) or you can duck into the clubhouse. It's and inside and outside party. Catch those beads!  .

March 13, 2012- Ladies Luncheon- Committees decide theme. bring a dish to share.

March 7 & 21, 2012- Mens Luncheon, at the local pub.

March 17, 2012 - St. Pats Party- Let the GREEN been seen. Let's dance under the shamrocks with Pat King, He's fun, He's exciting, and He will get those toes tapping.

Mar 30, 2011 - Rock Creek's got Talent! - Here's your chance to show off. Last year's show was a resounding success. Come be a part of the excitement and help us put on a show to remember.

April 3, 2012 - Last Ladies Luncheon, bring your famous dish to share.

April 4, 2012 - Last Mens Luncheon, at the local pub.

April 8, 2012 - Easter Dinner - Everyone is welcome to come and enjoy  the afternoon  at the club house. Bring a dish to share. Everyone splits the cost of the meat.

April 14, 2012 - Spring Bon Fire - new and old friends. Come and have fun at the west end of the park.  We are having a Bon Fire, music and games.  Please bring a dish to share.
